We are currently not accepting applications.
- Situation must involve
an immediate rescue.
- Guardian should submit
a brief letter (two pages
or less), along with picture(s)
of the animal(s)
in need, if possible. The request must include the following:
history; diagnosis
and prognostic of animal(s); veterinarian's name,
address and phone
number; estimated veterinary expenses
and amount requested.
- All animals must be spayed
or neutered to receive a Life
Fund grant.
If not, the guardian must
agree to spay or neuter during
the period of treatment, or
as
soon as the veterinarian
recommends that it is safe to do so.
The grant may be applied
to the cost of spay/neuter surgery.
- Rescue
groups must include organizational
materials.
- Individual rescuers
must be working in connection
with a local rescue group
or shelter.
- Individual caregivers
may only apply for their own
animals. They must be represented
by community agency serving
the elderly, homebound or homeless.
- Payments
will be made directly to the
veterinarian.

out spayed/neutered companion
animals.
- Grants will be awarded up
to $3,000.
- A letter of request
must be submitted, along with
a brief organizational history,
summary of current activities
and finances, project description and budget, and any
relevant organizational
materials. Preference will be given to smaller
organizations and to innovative program development.
- Grants
will be awarded to 501(c)(3)
nonprofit organizations only.
A copy of the IRS letter of
determination must be included.
- Art
for Animals currently accepts
requests from applicants in
New York, New Jersey, Connecticut
and western
Massachusetts. Requests should be emailed to info@artforanimals.org or mailed to Art for Animals, P O Box 1302, Woodstock, NY 12498.
